About Olympic Spine & Sports Therapy

Our founder, Dr. Mark Shelley, started his chiropractic practice in his hometown of Edmonds in 1984. In late 2000 he founded Olympic Spine & Sports Therapy. It was one of the first multi-disciplinary clinics in Western Washington. Dr. Shelley’s over two decades of experience in chiropractic, sports therapy and rehabilitation have given him unique insight into what it really takes to get people better and to stay that way.

Given his athletic lifestyle, Dr. Shelley has sustained numerous injuries himself, and as a result, he utilized many different types of treatment. He determined that the ideal treatment program combines several different disciplines. As a provider, he realized his patients needed the same integrated care. To address this need, he created a treatment team using spinal decompression, massage therapy, chiropractic care, physical therapy, and laser therapy. They all work together, producing greatly enhanced results.
