Caution! Soft tissue injuries can be deceptive and hard to accurately diagnosis. Many people have accidents and don’t realize the severity of their injuries until years later. Often this results in arthritis and disc conditions that cause permanent pain. To prevent future problems, it is essential that you are evaluated by a soft tissue injury specialist, and that you receive treatment that is as comprehensive as your condition requires.

Surface EMG testing can reveal hidden soft tissue injuries. The figure on the left shows abnormally increased and imbalanced levels of muscle activity due to injury. The figure on the right shows normal levels of electrical muscle activity.
